  • From Jackson, WY: Take US-191/US-89/US-26 North from Jackson through Grand Teton National Park. Continue following the highway directly to the South Entrance of Yellowstone. The drive is approximately 60 miles and takes about 1.5 hours, offering spectacular views of the Teton Range and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
  • From Idaho Falls, ID: Take US-26 East to Alpine, WY, then continue on US-89 North through Jackson and into Grand Teton National Park. Follow US-191/US-89/US-26 North to the South Entrance of Yellowstone. This drive is approximately 140 miles and takes about 3 hours, providing a scenic route through the Snake River Valley and Teton Range.

  • Jackson Hole Airport (JAC): Located about 55 miles from the South Entrance, this is the closest major airport. From the airport, you can rent a car and enjoy the scenic drive through Grand Teton National Park to reach Yellowstone.
