  • From Bozeman, MT: Take I-90 East to Exit 333 for US-89 South. Follow US-89 South directly to Gardiner, MT, and the North Entrance. The drive is approximately 80 miles and takes about 1.5 hours.
  • From Livingston, MT: Take US-89 South from Livingston directly to Gardiner, MT. The drive is approximately 55 miles and takes about 1 hour. This scenic route follows the Yellowstone River and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
  • From Billings, MT: Take I-90 West to Exit 333 for US-89 South. Follow US-89 South to Gardiner. This route is about 125 miles and takes around 2.5 hours.

Flying

  • Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN): Located about 90 miles from the North Entrance, this is the closest major airport. From the airport, you can rent a car and drive to the entrance.
  • Billings Logan International Airport (BIL): About 130 miles from the North Entrance, this airport is another option. Renting a car and driving from Billings is straightforward and allows for a scenic journey through Montana.
