The Owners: Emily Purdon and Austin Henley

Emily Purdon and Austin Henley’s journey began in the stunning backdrop of Montana, where the two crossed paths in June 2022. Emily, originally from Northern Virginia and living in Bozeman, and Austin, a seasoned hospitality professional residing in Ennis, instantly connected over their shared love for Montana’s wilderness and the great outdoors.

With Emily’s keen eye for detail and Austin’s expertise in hospitality and property management, the Bozeman couple purchased The Juniper House in November 2023 and embarked on a mission to transform the home into a premier vacation rental destination. Over the next several months, Emily and Austin worked tirelessly to breathe new life into the house with fresh interior paint, custom blinds and drapes, updated lighting, new faucets and knobs, and comfortable and stylish furniture. After a well-needed ‘face-lift’ by its new owners, The Juniper House was listed on Airbnb in April 2024. By the end of April, the property had already earned the distinction of being in the ‘Top 5%’ of listings on Airbnb, a testament to Emily and Austin’s dedication and passion.

Today, The Juniper House has achieved the coveted ‘Top 1%’ status on Airbnb, providing guests with fond memories of their stay in this beautifully renovated property nestled in the heart of Montana.

The COHO Collective

Witnessing the success of The Juniper House, Emily and Austin have undertaken their next venture: The COHO Collective. The COHO Collective is a short-term vacation rental hosting company that provides premium services to property owners in Southwest Montana. Building on their personal experiences, Emily and Austin are supporting other property owners in their rental journeys. Renovating, managing, and maintaining a rental home is no easy feat, and The COHO Collective offers services to assist owners every step of the way to the Top 1%.
